2022 Internet Filtering Symposium

Led by Dr. Shannon Oltmann, our team held a symposium at the University of Kentucky in April 2022 and funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services.

The symposium investigated the interlocking problems of internet filtering, digital literacy, and information poverty. The symposium rejuvenated research and sparked new collaborations. Work from the symposium will be published in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Information Policy.
